Dental Exams and Cleans

Full examination of your teeth and dental clean is done on the initial appointment and check-up. Our dentists carry out a thorough assessment of your teeth and gum health, and then discuss with you the best plan for treatment.

We recommend ongoing checks and clean for the best care of your teeth every 6 months. We also send out a friendly sms reminder to book in. For your convenience, we also offer an easy online booking service.

Children’s Dentistry

Oral health is vital for your child’s growth and development, general health and self-esteem. Visiting the dentist at an early age is important in order to identify any problems in your child’s jaw growth and development, as well as detecting any early signs of poor oral hygiene and decay. Dentistry for Children and regular checkups also help them to develop a positive relationship with our dentists from an early age, setting them up for a lifetime of good habits.

Your child aged 2-17 may also be eligible for the Medicare rebate of up to $1000. While we don’t bulk bill, we only charge the rebate amount for each of the services we provide for children, so there is no out of pocket costs. Call Greensborough Plaza Dental now to book your Child’s appointment.

Our Servicing areas include Greensborough, Eltham, Bundoora and  Watsonia other surrounding suburbs. Call us now 03 9435 3555 for a free quote.

ROOT CANAL TEATMENT

Root canal therapy, also known as endodontics, is a procedure that treats the nerve (pulp) of the tooth that is found inside each tooth and supplies it with blood. Previously, when the nerve of a tooth became infected or abscessed, the tooth often had to be removed. Today, most teeth can be saved by having the infected nerve taken out. The team at Greensborough Plaza Dental will make every effort to save as many teeth for our patients as possible.

Dental Implants

Dental implants provide the most successful form of treatment available to replace missing teeth. Implants offer teeth that look, feel and function like natural teeth. Implants are medical-grade titanium screws placed into the jawbone as a substitute for a missing tooth root.

Dental Implants integrate naturally with the bone (called osseointegration) before a crown, bridge or fixed denture is fitted to replace one or more missing teeth. After a consultation with one of our experienced dentists, we work with the oral surgeon in restoring your missing tooth. The process takes about 10 weeks. Contact our friendly staff for more information.

Teeth Whitening Greensborough

One of the most popular cosmetic treatments we provide is teeth whitening. After an appointment with one of our dentists, we take our patients through a process of making individual dental impressions for your teeth so that the whitening process is much more effective. We also realise that many people are very busy and like the privacy of teeth whitening in their own home, so we provide bleaching trays as take-home kits, using our very popular Pola day and night products.

Treatments start at $250.

Veneers

One of the most effective and efficient restorative dental treatments available from the Greensborough Plaza Dental.

Dental team that can often be completed in a single appointment visit is white composite resin veneers. Utilised to correct minor imperfections including chips, cover permanent stains, straighten corked teeth or close spaces between teeth, composite resin veneers can quickly and easily help you have a striking new smile.

Veneers can last 10 to 15 years and provide a perfect finish to teeth that would otherwise look damaged.

Book in with Dr. Dee  Harling today  to discuss the difference Veneers can make.

Inlays And Onlays

Inlays are a form of restoration similar to a filling with the difference being that they are created in a dental laboratory. A dental inlay covers a portion of the occlusal (biting surface of the back teeth) and proximal (area between teeth) surfaces. Made from the highest quality materials, inlays are then cemented into your tooth’s cavity, thereby creating a solid bond and effectively holding your tooth together protecting it from future decay and breakage.

Crown And Bridge

One of the strongest long-term solutions to restore a tooth back to its full function and appearance is a dental crown. Made from high-grade ceramic, they are designed to cover a single tooth. A crown is placed when damage or extensive dental work such as root canal therapy, a fractured tooth or tooth decay is too widespread for a filling to be used successfully.
